Signed. Sealed. Delivered.
Finished up all the paperwork on our brand spanking (totally and utterly empty) apartment. In the next few weeks I somehow need to outfit it with a bed, towels, cooking utensils, and um… everything that couldn’t fit in a suitcase and fly from the east coast to th west. This isn’t our new apartment by the way… its merely in our new hood and it made me smile.

On my way to a new part of town to meet a client I found this church. It was hard to get a good view of it from the fence around it. I won’t wax all metaphorical about faith here… but this shot could illustrate many things I think.

The wonders of the world never cease...
I may be proving how much of a country bumpkin I truly am by taking this picture…. but I truly never could have even conceived of a Chinese Southern Baptist church. Where I come from, every holler has its own Southern Baptist church. I’ve never even seen one outside of the Appalachian hills. Much less…. one that offers services in Chinese. My mind is blown.

Oh... so THIS is fog.
Another charming aspect of San Francisco is the fog. I didn’t understand what people were talking about until…. I woke up to this. There is a reason most of the frame is of the fog. I felt like a dog stuck inside in a thunderstorm. All I could do was think, “Ah, it’s here. It’s here to stay forever. It’s everywhere. I can’t get away,” over and over and over again. I’m happy to report: I’m getting used to it. 🙂
